Scans every page of a PDF and extracts each embedded image as a separate file. Different from “PDF to Image” which renders entire pages β this tool pulls out only the actual photos, illustrations, and graphics embedded in the document.
The tool inspects each page’s resource dictionary using pdf.js, locates the XObject images, decodes them, and saves each one to your downloads folder. JPEG images are extracted in their original quality; other formats are saved as PNG.
Vector graphics (line drawings, charts made with shapes) aren’t extractable as images β they’re drawing commands, not embedded files. Use the PDF to Image tool to render pages containing vector content.
